Interestingly I have myositis in all thigh muscles and I am struggling with a numb leg and knee x's 6 months as well as pain . I had a positive Lyme test last August. The doctor did all kinds of blood tests and everything was normal (to rule out autoimmune disease). (because of Myocitis)My original symptoms started with horrible pain in my thigh that would not stop no matter what I did or med I took. Doctor kind of poo pooed it whan I later asked then "why do I have this myositis?" So frustrating! Numb lower leg x's 7 months multiple MRI and xrays and NO answer other than positive Lyme. Not sick in any other way. ???
